You get a tough, yet sensitive, frenzied yet polished, sometimes boisterous yet often gentle delivery of modern and traditional Irish music from the pub to the concert stage.<br />
With well over a dozen instruments played on stage this very talented duo have the gift of bringing the Irish Pub experience to everyone.  From Mick Doyle&#8217;s powerful and emotional lead vocals to Dave Marsh&#8217;s mastery of his menagerie of instruments, they are sure to delight and sound much bigger than just a duo.<br />
Mick Doyle and Dave Marsh began playing music together as &#8220;Ellis Island&#8221; over twelve years ago continue to mesmerize audiences all over the midwest with their charm and interpretation of the music of the Celtic Isles.</p>
<p>Ellis Island has been named &#8220;Best ethnic live act&#8221; by the Omaha Entertainment Awards and has been nominated twice as &#8220;Best duo in a festival&#8221; by the Irish Music Association.Ellis Island has released three (3) cd’s “Crossing the Pond” “Live from McGuire’”s and “The Whole Shebang”</p>
